With nature

as a source of inspiration I create figurative

magic realistic and expressionist art.

The usage of different styles and techniques inspire me to create more.

The media that I use are amongst others: acrylic paint, oil paint, crayon, pencil, pen drawing, textile, photography and collage.

Even as a child I have always been creative. As I grew up my interest in photography, painting and drawing grew. My work was predominantly a free expression of the inner self. In the years 1988 till 1991 I studied at the school of art in Den Bosch and at the school of art St. Joost in Breda.

Since 2019 I started to slightly develop my realistic drawings to magical realism. Most of the time I use my own photographs as subject to start from. And besides my realistic drawings I still make other types of work like expressionism.
