The Meinweg 1
2023During walks through nature I am often amazed by its beauty. Then I take photographs. This particular day it was quite windy. In my drawing I enhanced the contrast between the imposing black trunks of the trees, the foreground of the blades of grass in the shades and the light blades of grass in the middle. An innocent Eristalis tenax
2021In the Netherlands it is also known as (literally translated) blind bee whilst it is not a bee and not blind. Its good mimicry though. Hence my title - innocent - . It looks so peaceful drinking the nectar of this heather flower. Lightfast oil colour pencils and oil were used on paper.
